Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Wings & Wishes works closely with doctors, hospitals and other organizations to ensure that children receive the care needed to fight their cancer battle.
For the first 8 months of 2025 Wings & Wishes facilitated 408 trips, transporting children from 8 provinces to Oncology Wards across South Africa. We facilitated 84 transfers between airports/bus stations and CHOC facilities, where the families are accommodated for the duration of their treatment.
