2 June 2026 was a very special day for Noah and his family.

On 23 February, they travelled from East London to Red Cross Hospital to begin the
long and emotional journey of Noah’s bone marrow transplant. After 19 days in hospital,
Noah was discharged, but the family still had to remain in Cape Town for his twice-
weekly check-ups. During this time, they stayed at CHOC House.

To lift their spirits and give them the motivation to keep pushing forward, Wings and
Wishes funded flights for Noah’s dad and sister to visit them over the Easter weekend.
The family treasured this special time together during a challenging period.

Today, Noah is finally travelling home, where he will continue his monitoring and follow-
up care at his local hospital.

Well done, Mommy and Noah — you made it! Your strength, courage, and
determination have inspired us all. We wish you safe travels home and look forward to
following your continued progress.
