Celebrating 20 Years of Wings and Wishes
In 2026, Wings and Wishes will proudly celebrate our 20th birthday! What began in
Port Elizabeth in 2006 — with funds raised to transport just one child to Cape Town for
treatment — has grown into a nationwide mission. By the end of 2025, we will have
sponsored 26,800 trips across South Africa, ensuring that children can access expert
medical care without the barrier of transport.
This incredible journey has only been possible thanks to the generosity of our partners
and supporters. To mark this milestone, we are planning a year filled with celebrations,
culminating in our 20th Anniversary Gala on 3 October 2026.
But we cannot do this alone. We invite you to join us as an event sponsor, standing
alongside us in celebrating lives saved — one trip at a time. Your support will help us
continue to ease the burden for families and ensure that no child is denied care
because of distance.
