Looking back at 2020 – what a year it was!
Our first travel request for 2020 was for Danyaal that traveled from PE to Cape Town for his annual check up. Our last traveler for the year was Lomelelo returning home to East London on New Year’s Eve. We funded 1 272 travel opportunities to the value of R822 000. We can proudly say that we were operational 24/7 365! Even during level 5 lockdown, we ensured that all children were still able to get to hospitals for their treatment.
Thank you to every individual and company for your support during this challenging year. Apart from our golf day in October , we were unable to host any of our planned fundraising events. Our golf day was a huge success and we managed to raise R57 000.
